Summer 2018 Schedule and Fee

Preschool Swim Lessons

Children ages 3-5 years will become acquainted with the fundamentals of swimming as well as basic water safety.  Flotation devices are used as a teaching aid to help your child learn to become more independent and confident in and around the water.  Instruction time will be 30 minutes with the last 15 minutes exploration time.

Members $33.00 Non-Members: 72.00

Tue/Thur  4:00-4:45 pm

Saturday 9:00-9:45 am

   Parent & Child Swim Lessons

This is a wonderful and educational parent/child water adjustment class.  Take this first step of  your child's lifetime water enjoyment with him/her.  Class is for children age 6 months to three years with parent(s) or trusted adult.

Youth Swim Lessons

In this progressive program, swimmers learn swim techniques and safety skills as they progress through all seven levels and learn the benefits of swimming for fitness, fun, and safety.  Beginners start at the Polliwog level and work all the way to the Porpoise level.  Ages 6-12 years old.

Diving Lessons

In this progressive program children will learn the basics of diving.  Including feet first entries and dive entries.  All divers will work at their own individual skill level.  Varsity coach Rich Zarger will instruct.

Returning in the Spring of 2019 Tuesday/Friday 4-4:45 pm

Aquatic Fitness

Aquarobics

This shallow water program is geared towards a total body workout including a series of exercises aimed at raising your heart rate, toning stomach, legs, and arms, and light stretching. 

Mon/Wed/Fri 9:30am-10:30am

Deep Waterobics

Aqua jogging with a twist is the basis of this class which is held primarily in the deep end of the pool while wearing floatation belts for buoyancy.  This no impact workout is great for your cardiovascular system as well as for toning your muscles and increasing flexibility.

Adult Lap Swim

The YMCA has set aside special pool hours for adults to exercise in the pool.  Swim laps, aqua jog, walk, or use the water for physical therapy rehabilitation.  Let us help you to build a healthy spirit, mind, and body.

One lane will be made available during all Open Swims upon request.
